Today we sold 162 Barkly Drive, Windsor Downs, for $2,250,000.

But for me, this sale has a very special story behind it.

Back in the early 1990s, I had the pleasure of selling a home in Oliver Street, Riverstone, for a lovely couple who would go on to build their family home here in Windsor Downs.

More than 30 years later, their two children entrusted me with the sale of that very same home.

It’s difficult to put into words what that means to me.

This wasn’t simply a house. It was a home their parents had built, a place filled with family memories, and an important part of their family’s story.

Having known the family all those years ago, and now being asked to help with this next chapter, is something I feel genuinely privileged to have been part of.

After more than 50 years living in the Hawkesbury and decades working in real estate, I’ve come to appreciate that our profession is about so much more than property.

It’s about people, relationships, memories and the trust that sometimes carries across generations.

To the family, thank you for placing your trust in me once again. It has meant more than you might realise.
